9. ASHA CAA Standards for Collaboration

CAC standards:

1. Under Standard 3.0B, collaboration is not included the key area of clinical competence, compared to voice, swallowing, articulation and language.

2. Collaboration is not mentioned in the next list of six knowledge areas, such as ethics, advocacy and cultural correlates.

3. Collaboration is mentioned in the skill areas of “interaction and personal qualities” — counseling, ethical practice, professional behavior, oral/written communication, effective interaction, self-evaluation and use of evidence.
